 Payal Ghosh Completed her secondary and higher secondary education from St Paul’s Mission School, Kolkata. Then She Got admission for graduation, to Scottish Church College in Kolkata. She completed her graduation with Political Science honors. 

 Payal Ghosh started her career in the acting industry before her graduation when She was only 17 years old. she made her first debut in the British TV movie Sharpe’s Peril in 2008. Sharpe's Peril is a British TV film based on Bernard Cornwell's historical fiction. 

 Then she decided to pursue a career in acting and came to Mumbai and joined Namit Kishore’s acting academy to learn acting. Then she got first to lead role in the Telugu movie Prayanam(2008) directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti. Later, she was seen in the Varshadhaare ( Kannada, 2010), Mr. Rascal (Telugu, 2011), and Oosaravelli (Telugu, 2011). Oosaravelli is an action thriller film directed by Surender Reddy. 

 In this film, Payal Ghosh worked very popular south Indian actor Jr NTR and Tamannaah. This film is released across 1,800 screens worldwide. This film has broken previous Kollywood records of the highest opening day gross by grossing ₹16.3 crores. Later, she was seen in her last film Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi(2017) is a Bollywood romantic comedy movie directed by Sanjay Chhel and produced by Bharat.
